About.

I help small businesses and nonprofits spend more time doing what they love by providing reliable bookkeeping and financial support that improves accuracy, visibility, and confidence in their numbers.

My Journey.

I began my bookkeeping career in the nonprofit sector and quickly discovered a passion for helping organizations and business owners better understand their finances. Today, through Smallwood Bookkeeping, I provide monthly bookkeeping, clean-up and catch-up work, payroll support, accounts payable and receivable management, inventory tracking, and customized financial reporting.

I work with both small businesses and nonprofits, helping clients create cleaner systems, better visibility into their numbers, and more confidence in the decisions they make. I also offer notary and Remote Online Notary (RON) services with the same commitment to professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail.

Behind the books.

Before founding Smallwood Bookkeeping, I spent several years working in academic and medical research. My background in psychology, research, and education shaped my analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail—qualities that now help me support clients with practical, organized financial solutions.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, exploring museums and local history, trying new foods, and spending time with my many pets.
